It's beautiful outside. I really want to dig out the frisbee and be outside for long periods of time, too bad that it's still February and things will eventually get back to normal. But at least there is some hope for spring, and spring in Eau Claire is beautiful.
More was found in the Egyptian city of the dead,
Saqqara. It's interesting to think that it's estimated that only 30% of what is actually there has been found. It almost makes me want to rethink my major and continue on to Egyptology, but if I remember correctly, I think I would have to go to school in Maine. If snot-nosed high schoolers don't work out, maybe I'll have to rethink grad school.
I talked to my brother yesterday, and for some reason it wasn't that awkward. I have to give him credit for being completely random about life, although he isn't going to be getting any sort of education anytime soon, he will have a lot of good life stories to tell in the end. Hopefully someday I'll have the chance to be so random.
Becky introduced me to the British artist Lily Allen yesterday... she's very angry. Some of her music is kind of strange, but interesting. I think lots of us can relate to it.
I also have a renewed love for Skype. I talked to my aunt in South Africa at 8am yesterday, very lovely. I miss them lots. Hopefully I can eventually invest in headphones and then I can make proper calls with it.
I'm at odds to what I want. I'm really enjoying my time in Eau Claire... the weekends (and weekdays) have been a blast lately, but at the same time I'm missing my work buddies and my Wausau friends. I wish I could have one of the next few weekends in EC.
I think I have finally run out of pointless things to say. Perhaps I'll think of more later. I have a history test in an hour...and now I'm going up to the 4th floor.

Hello again, as usual it's been awhile, but ah well. I just wanted to say that I had a ridiculously random Valentine's day today. It involved getting Valentines from various people with ages ranging from 13-53. Let's just say lots of people in my life are very sweet. During the day I built projects with Middle School kids, and later Renee and I went to Coldstone with my crazy/fun neighbor and her Mongolian roommate. It's very interesting watching this really sweet girl from Mongolia enjoying incredibly dirty rap music, and probably not understanding a word of it. Later, I went on a lovely ladies date that involved deep conversation such as how long we would all live, and how easy enchiladas are to keep as pets. At least now I know that I have a definite date for Valentine's Day 2088, unless I die first. Ah well, I hope everyone else had a day just as interesting...
Oh, and before I forget. The Ask Igora form doesn't work... my email just gets blank forms. So whoever has been asking Igora questions repeatedly, I'm not actually able to see any of those. Perhaps some day I'll actually fix that.
Anyway, that's about it at the moment. EC has been.... interesting, thus far. Last weekend I went home to work and I saw little baby Cole Patrick!! Auntie Julie is definitely one of my favorites. I also realized that I still love my job, just because the people at Sam's Club are actually pretty amazing. But I'm excited for this weekend, it should be a good time.
That's probably all for now. If it wasn't so late perhaps I'd be more creative, but I think it's time for my Nyquil fix. Bye for now folks.
