Two points for honesty

Sometimes I wish I really knew what I wanted... about everything. It's one of those days where one second everything is going absoutely right, and the next second nothing is right at all. Maybe it's one of those days where I feel like everyone I speak to is turning around and bitching about me to the next person they see. Le sigh.

Here we go again.

Already it has been one week since my last post... so I guess so much for posting more, but I will try harder. It's been a long week anyway, lots of work and eating. I'm ashamed to say that I participated in the barbarism that is shopping on the day after Thanksgiving, but I made up for it by working 8 hours shortly thereafter.
In the meantime I have seen a few movies. Happy Feet is pretty adorable, you just can't say no to dancing penguins. Tonight Matt and I saw Casino Royale, and I actually really liked it. I thought I was going to be questionable about it, because I wasn't sure about the new James Bond, simply because I think Pierce Brosnan is stuck in my mind. But I think what really worked for this new one is that it didn't depend on special effects or super cinematic action; it was more about the actual storyline, and was actually pretty believable. I liked how they touched on how James Bond's first days as an agent would be. Yay Ian Fleming. I suppose I should read some of the books sometime... and I would if I wasn't currently on a civil war narrative.
Hmm, I'm trying to think of other important things to say, but all I can think of is that I finally can say that I have Happy Hanukkah socks. Hopefully I'll return sometime soon.

Neglect

I don't think I've been blogging enough lately. I should take the time to actually write something every once in awhile. I think I'll attempt that, although it might end up like the Catwoman diary I had when I was little... I think I painted in it with watercolors.

So again.

Well... I'm glad that we Wisconsinites got the real problem of gay marriage out of the way. Now that we've helped make sure that this country that was founded on the liberty and freedoms of the individual is still a protected nation under our Christian God, we can move on to the lesser problems, such as heath care and education. Whew.

I'm disgusted.

So...

Today is Election Day, and shame on you who aren't getting out there to vote. You still have time to figure out what you care about and let your opinion be heard.
