Hello again. First of all, I'll just say I was pretty motivated today, and I finally competely updated the Gallery, so it's up to date as far as today. I finished uploading all of the summer pictures, although the majority of them could have already been viewed on Facebook, and there are some new fall ones as well.
Otherwise, my life is very lovely at the moment. Almost two weeks ago already I had to finally let go of the Topaz, but it became someone else's first car, so it is still doing its job.... but I can't say I won't miss it, you can never forget your first car. Since then midterms came and went, my Sociology test last Thursday, and Monday and Tuesday of this week I had two history midterms and a speech. But since then, I've been the epitome of laziness. Today I simply sat... and it was glorious. Too bad I'll be busy again soon, no doubt. But oh well, today was a good day.
Although I had the motivation to update the gallery, I'm going to continue with the theme of the day and be lazy. Once again, I'll try to post something meaningful soon, but it depends. Have a good one!

The Wausau Daily Herald recently posted a very nice slideshow depicting the fall colors that were around Wausau. See it

Gah! It's so cold outside... and it's flurrying! I'm definitely not ready for winter, that's for sure. Right now I'm avoiding homework, and I'm pretty bored. Not much has happened since the last post: work, school, visiting Eau Claire! Friday night was a pretty good time, Becky, Casey and I visited Kim and Julie in Eau Claire... we went to a banquet, ate free food, went to varsity night live, hung out, watched the parade and football game.... yay for EC. I'll have to visit sometime when it's not crazy though. Anyway, Saturday night I wandered to a corn maze with Matt, Mel and Andy, which was good fun. Sunday Matt and I took advantage of the nice weather and went on a bike ride... and that was pretty much my weekend. Now my time is pretty much being spent either at school or work, at least for this week anyway. Today was lazy, as my biking class was canceled, and I found out that it's only having one more session, which excites me as my schedule will become much lazier. In other good news I found out for sure that I got promoted to a supervisor position at work, which is very exciting/scary, we'll have to see how it goes. Hmm... I think I'm out of things to write. If I get some extra free time I'll try to come up with something actually interesting to say, but now I'm just wasting time. I'll be back eventually...

So, it's definitely been awhile. And I definitely still haven't posted all of the

Summer's pictures in the gallery. But since summer I've been working like crazy and going to school... but all for a good cause. Last week was pretty crazy stressful, I had a road trip down to Southern Wisconsin to go car shopping, and I ended up finding one that was pretty much perfect... so hence the shiny new one in my driveway. I'm definitely sad to see the Topaz go though, and if anyone would like to invest in a ridiculously reliable car, check out the paper in a few days! Everything has been going good though, the MC is always good fun and it's nice getting to hang with friends in Wausau, even though we've all been so busy it's been hard to see each other often. School is proving to be not too difficult, but I suppose I'm only taking 13 credits. My speech class with Barry is pretty interesting, probably my favorite, even though I thoroughly hate speech. When I haven't been at school, I've generally been working... the ridiculous part is that I actually to some extent enjoy my job and my coworkers, it's very nice working with cool, social people... and you can definitely tell the difference between working at job that allows people who are under 18 and one that doesn't...

I'm especially excited right now, because I had an interview yesterday for a supervisor position, and I pretty much got it, so woot. But even though I enjoy my job I'm still very much enjoying my time off as well.
Hmm... in other news Fall is ridiculously beautiful. I don't know why I'm noticing the Fall colors so much this year, but this last week or so has been beyond beautiful. The picture above was taken by my mom from the top of Rib Mountain, and that was a week ago, and I'm thinking the Fall colors are just about peaking right now. I also get to see lots of beautiful trees in my Mountain Biking class out at 9 Mile... and not very sadly I ran over a baby snake today with my bike out there. I pretty much screeched my head off for a few seconds, and I'm not even sure I killed it, as the person behind me said it was still twitching....
Otherwise that's almost all I have to say I guess, except that I've super excited to visit Eau Claire this weekend, and go to a pumpkin patch and corn maze sometime in the future! Woot woot! Enjoy the Fall everyone, and I'll try to post some pictures soon!
