Very exciting news... the City Council approved the
Palladian project, so finally, the bloody Plaza Mall is going to die. Also, a Wausau Marketing group is doing a study on the feasibility of putting a
Native American cultural center in the old Federal Building (which I wish would involve tearing it down and building anew, but that won't happen). Yay for progress for Wausau's downtown.

If you want to know what happens in Eau Claire... this is it. And if you want to watch the quicktime video, here
that is.
Ah, yes, I finally got the little camera I've been wanting (yay for price drops). Good fun.
Otherwise, other random links, besides Mel licking Jessica's desk:
Natalie posted some interesting pictures of
downtown Wausau, which is always fun. And CSITTL posted the
Top 10 Lists of the First 1000 Top 10 lists... which is again, always good fun. I think that's all I have for now.

Hmm, it's been awhile, and I honestly did mean to post during my Spring Break, because I realistically didn't have anything else to really do, but... eh. Last weekend Casey, Mel, Becky and I were in Chicago for College Nationals. We lost all of our games, but I think we did really well considering we were probably the youngest team in Division 1. I was kind of sick over that weekend, but I was feeling a bit better by Sunday afternoon. Sunday night Matt and I saw
V for Vendetta, which I thought was pretty decent... Monday was aimless wandering if I remember correctly, and Monday night Becky, Kim, Matt and I bowled at Weston. Very early Tuesday morning I became very sick again, so Tuesday I pretty much didn't move much farther than from my bed to the couch and watch some random movies with Matt. Wednesday was more laziness, my first trip to ColdStone and more bowling and meeting men with Becky, Matt and Natalie. Thursday I was at Acoustic Night, which is always good fun, and then Perkins with the Matts, Becky, Natalie and Dominic. Friday was a party at Julie's house which involved Cranium and "Hook" and cats and Chris becoming allergic to Kim. Saturday was Matt and I's 2 Year Anniversary... woot! Sunday I picked up my new camera (and I will eventually post pictures at some point, as I need to take some; all I've got right now are a few with me and Matt holding a gun) and collecting sap to make maple syrup at Matt's house. Overall it was a very good Spring Break, as it felt good to be honestly lazy and not work full time for once, even if I was a little under the weather for half of it.
Hmm, that was really boring synopsis. On to the random links. First of all,
some guy got kidnapped, held for ransom of $20,000, then let go after 24 hours of ridiculousness... some of the quotes are amazing. Also, Matt beat me to a story about a
British cat. Gah.
That's all I really have for now because I'm being lazy, but I'll try to update at some point in the near future.
Also, Blogger spellcheck apparently thinks "ridiculousness" is a word.

So, we decided to listen to some Spice Girls the other day, and earlier tonight decided that if Mel was a Spice Girl, she would be Transsexual Spice. Renee quickly became Easy Spice, I became Dirty Spice, and Jessica is... "Cracker-ass" Spice. Eventually, after combining four years of lazy Photoshop experience and some wierd pictures,
this was created. ..... Yeah.
Spring Break tomorrow!

Hello all... twas a lovely weekend for me and I hope it was a pleasant one for you.... Kim, Juli and I headed down to Madison to see Ben Folds at the Orpheum Theatre. It was very good fun, Juli took lots of pictures and I posted some of them in the
gallery, so go take a look. The one to the left is me at the theatre with Ben in the background, in the picture he looks kind of far away, but we were actually extremely close to him... I would guess about 20 feet away. It was an awesome concert in general. He broke his chair when he threw it at his piano, which was exciting. Yay for Ben! Kim and I also got to see the curling Mecca (aka Pardeeville), which was fun, and eat some home cooked meals, which was even more fun. Overall it was a great weekend...Yay for Ben! I also figured out that I've seen him 4 times in the past 2 years, so I'm thinking I should take a little break and actually see some other concerts...
Anyway, other than that the only thing going on is college nationals this weekend, which should be very good fun indeed. I would say more but it's getting late, and I actually have to stumble out of bed rather early....perhaps I'll find the motivation to post again soon!

Hmm... it's been awhile. Since last week Silver Spoon has happened and a few other things. Silver Spoon was pretty amusing as usual, my team was runner up in one of the 1st Events, so we got a big piece of chocolate and a nifty keychain, which was way better than one of those silly pins! Other than that nothing too exciting has been going on, Jessica and I decided that we must memorize "La Vie Boheme" and break into song the next time we are at Perkins. Kim also prodded me to listen to a newer band called Panic! At the Disco, and after downloading the CD I'm actually really enjoying them (I think my favorites are "Camisado" and "Time to Dance")... um, other than that I'm too lazy to find any interesting links or anything, because it's a bit late
Random thoughts though...
Going to see some Vagina Monologues tomorrow, it's going to be good fun.
I really miss Weasel.
Ben Folds bitches.
That's all. I'll probably try to post something more interesting this weekend at some point, but I've got a pretty big test on Friday and three more next week.... but after that is Spring Break! Woot!
