This is what I've been doing at work for the past few days... either painting a piece of fabric with traced pictures of Indians on it to teach cub scouts sign language that the Native Americans used, or watching my boss kill an enormous spider with a rubber band... ("Oh my god, he's wounded! Let's try again...") You would never believe that we're at the height of our busy season. Other than that not much is going on, but I should really get off my butt and create that teenage soup page and write some reviews. Feel free to submit anything, champs. Have a good one for now...

A new spaghetti recipe: Spaghetti alla Puttanesca... aka Spaghetti "Whore-style". More to come, eventually.

Hello hello. It's been a week but many things have happened. Most importantly, my true Harry Potter geeky-ness surfaced and Matt, Kim, Casey and I were at Janke's Bookstore before midnight on Friday waiting for the book. Matt and I were interviewed by channel 9 news and a clip of one of my pathetic responses was actually aired, plastic Potter glasses and all. Matt and I were also taped sitting outside the store reading the first chapter, and a Daily Herald guy took pictures as well. (The first picture is below, the second can be found here.) I've spent the last few days reading the book and just finished, and I'm a little...detached. God, I'm such a Potter freak it's pathetic, but perhaps I'll actually write up a review, because I need more book reviews. I won't say anything about the plot and whatnot now, but it was an interesting read for sure... Anyway, other things that have happened... I went to a petting zoo with Matt and fed corn to a bear and some greedy goats, we went swimming at the Council Grounds, Julie and I were on a team for Cranium... I can't believe July is almost over, this summer is going way too fast. I've got more to type sometime, but I'll get around it eventually. Other than that, enjoy the picture. Have a good one.

Hello all... yes, I'm at work, but over my lunch hour I uploaded a few new galleries... some pictures from my graduation party, and then some my sister took at the Balloonfest last Saturday. Lots of fun, so check those out. Other than that, nothing much going on. (psst... horoscopes) Well, I better go back to work, have a good one anyway.

Wow... I am tired. We got back from the Weezer concert a little after 4am this morning (so much for getting home earlier, hehe). Weezer ROCKED, as would be expected. The Pixies were good fun too, although not for those who didn't know their music, which is understandable. Overall the concert was amazing, especially since I've been waiting since like freshman year to see them. It was also very exciting while we were waiting for the show to start, because we were sitting a few rows back from the sound boards and we saw Karl, the band's good friend and webmaster, wandering around and eating nuts. I called out his name once, but he didn't hear and the Pxies' sound guy turned around and giggled at us. Very exciting. After a stop at Denny's at one am and running a red light, we eventually stumbled home. After I was getting gas in Wausau my car started making this ungodly squealing noise though, so I got to wake up at like 9:30 am to go get that checked out, which turned out to be a water pump scraping against some sort of belt or something... ah well, more money spent, but at least the Topaz won't be making that clunking noise it's been making for the past few weeks.... And I can't complain, the Topaz is very faithful and doesn't break down often. Wow, this is strange, I'm actually posting about my life here... and I haven't got any website-wise to say or any links to post... Crazy. Ah well, I'm going to go try to convince my sister to drink that one-calorie Coca Cola (otherwise known as unfiltered Lake Michigan water)... Casey took lovely pictures at the concert, so those might be up soon. Have a good one.

Woot! For Ben Folds! The concert was amazing, as usual. And Weezer on Thursday, woot! It's going to be an exciting week... Hmm. Yeah, I know, it's been very quiet around here, but I can't say I haven't been busy. Over the weekend I was wandering around the northwoods with Matt... I must say wandering simply because for about 50% we were in the car with absolutely no idea where we were going or what we wanted to do... which actually turned out to be pretty interesting and fun, yay for wandering aimlessly. Anyway, I guess that random page that was invented at Casey's party ("Teenage Soup for the Chicken's Soul") is still up in the air, but I'm wondering if I should make it an open blog for people to randomly post their "tales" of teenage angst that would otherwise be bottled or simply just a page that would be updated whenever new things came in... Hmm, hit me with your comments on that one, although maybe only Casey and Kim can truly appreciate it. Other than that, I will be back, probably after Thursday (=W=!!), although sadly there will be no pictures because apparently they aren't allowed in the ampitheatre. Ah well, be back soon...
