Yes, I know. It's been awhile, and it's summertime, so I don't really have an excuse. But, I blame it on graduation parties and work. You bet. Hmm, since my last update, I've had my graduation party, went to Rene's, Mel's and Kelly's parties, saw "The Pants" movie and Mr. and Mrs. Smith (even though Marcus Theatres is robbing me!), and I've been working pretty much full time. I also went to registration with Mel for college, it's going to be interesting, but lots of fun. Yes, me and Mel under one roof, I already feel bad for the others in the Hall. Summer is already going by really fast, but it's going to be very fun. Hmm, I don't actually have anything really to update, maybe I should really get motivated and actually do something around here, but it's almost 1:30 and I should probably sleep. More stuff to see: Bush and Kerry had similar grades, so what's all this about Kerry being so much smarter than Bush? Honestly, both had like C+ averages, and they both ran for president for the United States? Maybe we are rather silly here in the Union. Also, a really dedicated pizza guy, and a Ben Folds interview (just enter to win the Sony thing and you can watch it). Apparently that same website will be giving out more Ben Folds stuff later this month, I'll post more links if I find them.

Good afternoon! Yay for it being officially summer, I'm definitely ready to be working full time and enjoying lots of freetime. The class of 05 graduated last night, but it all seems very surreal. I don't really feel like I'm not going to go back to high school next year, I guess it hasn't hit me yet. Even though everyone bitches about high school, I know for sure I'm going to miss it. I'm really going to miss seeing everyone everyday, I guess it's something you really take for granted. At the afterparty last night I never really thought about why I was spending time with the people I was there with; I didn't really think at the time that I probably wouldn't see a lot of those people for a really long time, if ever, again. I guess my dad really depressed me when he was going on about how everyone thinks they are so close to the people they go to high school with, but in reality after graduation you hardly stay in touch with many of them. But I'm not going to be depressed, because it's going to be an awesome summer and there's always next year's curling season. And I must admit, there were some people at the party that I could do without, at least for awhile. Anyway, that's me being depressing. I'll fully admit that I'm going to miss the high school atmosphere, but college is going to be fun too. My life is just changing really fast all of a sudden...
Anyway, stuff on the computer, just the usual. I joined Blogshare (see little link to the left). It's interesting, even though I don't understand lots of it, maybe I should have taken economics. Nothing else going on though, but everyone should go to the forum, and put in votes for a date that we should party at Wisconsin Dells or something. And today I have a link that may not mean anything to anyone here, but none of my links usually do so I'll just post it anyway. It has to do with the president of Zimbabwe, Mugabe, who was apparently reported to be dead, but actually isn't, or something. Anyway, interesting fact: My mom was born in Zimbabwe (small country just north of South Africa), and the capital city that this news report came from is Harare, and I met some family friends on my trip to South Africa that still live there. Anyway, it's just an interesting article, as most of the people living in Zimbabwe (and around it) are quite simply waiting for him to die, because in simple terms, he's not a very pleasant guy (For example, take the current hatred of George Bush and times that by ten). Maybe when I'll have time I'll find a link to more information about him, but I'm lazy. Anyway, that's a lot of nothingness, have fun anyway!

Yes, I know, it's me. It's been over a week, I'm bad. Ah well, I don't really have an excuse, I've just been stubbornly refusing to take my last few days of high school seriously. Exams are such silliness. I'm really excited for summer to start though, summer is always a lot of good fun. Nevertheless, I don't really have anything to actually update, but I suppose once school is completely over I will have time for a few adjustments around here. In the meantime, I've been collecting random links over the last week. The first one, although I might be the only one who will appreciate it because I've spent the last 4 summers working for a radio geek, is a clip from the Jay Leno show. Click here and then scroll down to where it says "Cell phone vs. CW", and click on the little link for the Late Show clip. I just find it rather entertaining (bloody technology). Anyway, next, in response to Kim's last blog post; if you are looking for something that is super Star Wars geeky check out the "music video" to John Williams' music for the new Star Wars movie. It's basically a bunch of movie clips with my composing hero's music in the background, very good fun. And finally, a guy who wants to hit 1,000 different bars in a year, it's kind of an interesting article, and you can find his blog here. Yes, now you can waste even more of your time on my pointless link fiascos. More importantly, only one more day left!
