Yesterday was a good day... I got my three dollar rebate from my oil change.

Gah!! I think I'm going to have a hernia! (Happy Easter by the way) Both Weezer and Ben Folds are releasing hot CDs in the very near future, how happy is that?
First of all, Weezer. "Make Believe" is the new album, it comes out May 10th, which just happens to be the day before my birthday... what crazy talk. Which is happy because after I empty my pockets on the Ben Folds cds I'll need a nice birthday gift from my 'rents. Anyway, the first single "Beverly Hills" is officially released Tuesday, but I think some radio stations have already been playing it. You can listen to it by going to their
website and then scrolling down to the March 23rd(ish) update... the link is there. So do that and be happy... the song actually sounds very different compared to the more traditional Weezer sound; it's supposed to be Pinkertonish so that's happy. And go to
Casey's blog to read the lyrics. Hot hot hot.
And... and... Ben Folds is releasing a whole bloody herd of cds... There's a new mix of Whatever and Ever Amen coming out (or is out... not sure). Anyway, more importantly, there are two others coming out in late April/Early May, "Songs for Goldfish" which is like a new live cd, and then there is his totally new studio CD "Songs for Silverman". You can listen to bits of Songs of Silverman
here. It's all so happy!
The only sad part is that both Ben Folds and Weezer are touring at the same time, and they are both in the Minnesota/Chicago areas May 3 and 4th, and those being both school nights and just days before my AP tests, I don't think they are going to be a go for me, GAH. Ah well, I guess I'll just have to appreciate their CDs and hope they both do a few dates in the fall. Yay for awesome music anyway! Happy Easter again, hope you all had fun.

Just in response to the little conversation on the Tag Board... I found an article about the man who is considered to have fathered the most children...Some Quotes: "According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the 18th century Moroccan ruler Moulay Ismail the Bloodthirsty fathered 888 children out of his harem of 500 women." But... But.. the main point of the article is about Genghis Khan: "This individual man's Y-chromosome is today found in an estimated 16 million of his male line progeny in a vast swath of Asia from Manchuria near the Sea of Japan to Uzbekistan and Afghanistan in Central Asia. That's one of every 200 males on Earth today." He was busy I guess... and I can't leave out my favorite quote: "Kravitz has pointed out that his hero was one of the biggest looters in history, yet much of his booty seems to be missing. So, the lawyer argues, perhaps the conqueror's treasure was buried alongside him. Cochran responded, 'If true, this could make King Tut's tomb look like a Wal-Mart.'" Hehehe, read the entire article
here. Yay for me posting something, and yay for me and Matt... one year yesterday! Have a good one.

Evening! Thanks for all

of the great comments from everyone, it's very appreciated! No other updates for today though, just the random cow comic on the left. I also found this very
interesting article on the history of Jesus actually becoming what we see him as today... just in time for Easter... joy. Other than that nothing is going on, but I encourage you all to go the forum... and I'm too lazy to link it here so you all can just click on the menu link for the forum. Um, I trying to think of something else to say... but I can't. Have a good one anyway!

Evening... my week has been dandy... shortly after I woke up Thursday morning I realized I had developed pink eye and laryngitis over the course of six hours, and I didn't even get eyedrops with steriods this time. Thursday night I bought Matt at a man auction, and Friday I watched some curling action. Today I did a whole bunch of nothing, woot. I did fix a few things around here though, I added pictures to the crew page, and I added about 15 new random facts to the fact thingy up above, so keep your eyes peeled for those... Other than that all I ask is that you all try to think of happy page ideas... and if you would like to be the editor (Kim's job at horoscopes, for example) of such a page or a page we already have, drop me a line, or a message at the forum, or something. Have a good one!

'ello... things may look a bit different... this is why Matt and I have been hiding out at myhouse for the past few evenings. There are still a few loose ends hanging around though, so don't be concerned if you run across some weird links, etc. Also, more importantly, check out the forum and look at Matt's hott handy-work. Speaking of Matt, come to the MC tomorrow and bid on him. Hope you all enjoy, and come post in the forum.

Gah, yes, I'm still here, although it may not seem like it. I meant to update... for like 3 weeks, but every time I sat down at the computer the motivation left me. And now I need to post a ton of stuff to catch up. First of all, updates around here: Ask Igora answered some questions that have been sitting in my mailbox for quite awhile...And I also updated Comic Relief, more on that shortly. I think that because my boss is going to Florida for Spring Break that I'll have tons of time to actually do some work around here, perhaps renovate the site a bit, and add some new stuff. Any ideas are welcome by the way, if anyone feels the need to have a little page of their own to update (such as Kim updating the 'Scopes page, which she says will be happening soon, by the way), feel free to offer your idea or the page you want to be in charge of. Speaking of that, I need to update the crew page too... Gah, so much to do. Hopefully some updates will be coming soon.
Anyway, other stuff: Curling is over as of today pretty much, what a season. Hopefully even though everyone is off to college next year we can still keep a team together, and rock a few bonspiels together. Curling is still the hot.
Hmm, other things I have to say... Matt discovered that LimeWire kicks Kazaa's ass, so I'm back to getting music again, and I've decided that Modest Mouse, The Shins, and Jack Johnson are the hottest...lovely.
What more can I waste your time with? David Daniel! I stared at David Daniel's face for over 3 hours on Friday, it was so happy. Every kid should have David Daniel as an English teacher. Here are some pictures of
David Daniel, which look a bit old but oh well. Which also brings me to the Comic Relief update, which is some Slam Poetry written by Taylor Mali. Even though everyone else and their mothers have posted the same poem on their blogs, it is still my favorite. And check out the link at the bottom of the Relief page too, Taylor Mali is pretty happy stuff.
And a few more links for you to check out: A really random story about a
really big lobster, and I also need to point out that the new Weezer CD is coming out in May! (Thanks Casey!) Cross your fingers, hopefully their tour will bring them somewhere near Wisconsin...
Anyway, that was an update, eh? Have a good one.
