Late-night croquet and other news

Hello all. Lots of randomness since my last post. The weekend was pretty interesting.... Friday night I had din din with Julie and Casey, and then later that night we decided to whip out the croquet set on the 400 Block. The two games we played ended up as an alliance of girls against Matt, and if I remember correctly we absolutely kicked his ass twice. Afterward we went to Perkins again, but it was flooded with East kids after their play... still in full make-up. Gah. Anyway, Saturday it rained, so any picnic activities planned were canceled, so instead Matt and I watched Silence of the Lambs and Pride and Prejudice. Sunday was very lazy.
I do have more to say though... Watching Pride and Prejudice gets me in that mood to read lots of books, as movies of that type usually do. I don't think I'll ever get to them all, because there's so much randomness to read. I'm really interested in some of the classics... such as the rest of Jane Austen, notably Sense and Sensibility and Emma, some Charles Dickens, Joseph Conrad's Lord Jim (and hopefully understand it), the Sound and the Fury by Faulkner, Great Expectations, To Kill a Mockingbird, perhaps Le Mis, some more Mark Twain and Jack London, Crime and Punishment, perhaps finish my book of Poe's works, more Shakespeare... gah. It's hard when school demands so much reading... and I'm also in the middle of the 2nd book of an extensive series recommended by Matt. Perhaps over the summer...
I think that's all I have to say for now, even though that wasn't much to say. However, perhaps there will be more later.
Heh, but I do love my friends. This summer should be fun.
