Evening. I know, I know, Igora has lots of questions... but I'm lazy. Tomorrow, I promise. Anyway, after a fun filled night of West losing the football game and then laughing until I had chest pains, I decided that I must list the most memorable days of this past summer.
1. The Ben Folds concert in June: After a really long drive and wandering around Milwaukee for about an hour, Mel, Becky, Matt and I rocked out to Ben Folds at Summerfest. I'm so glad we made it there after lots of people bailed out (some due to parents, or whatnot... and for other reasons). Very cool, and the Magician was happy too.
2. Fourth of July: Need I say more? It's always memorable.
3. Chris' cabin: What could be better than roaring around on Jet skis with Mel and spending quality time with Chris' 'rents? It's always good fun when you can watch me flail around in the water attempting to waterski or having tubing contests. Good stuff.
4. The 400 Block Rock: I would have to say this was probably the number one night of the entire summer. Not only did we skank our hearts out to The Shifty Seven at the actual concert, we continued the dance party to welcome Kim back from France in the middle of the West parking lot. Smashing soda cans, being really sweaty, and skanking to the music coming from Erik's van in front of crabby French teachers always makes the summer. Trashing Annie's afterwards is also good fun.
5. Curling Camp: Outdoor protests and curling trading cards? Score. Not to mention heated discussions of how West curling could be improved and watching the Olympics in the background. ("Damn Australians always stealing our pastimes.")
6. The Olympics: Come on, only once every 2 years.
7. Rice Lake: Hanging with Mel's small cousins, curling with really good curlers, and wandering around Rice Lake is good stuff. We all curled really well too, it was happy.
If I forgot in especially good events complain on the forum/tagboard. But now I'm tired.
